KEY HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE FMDA WEEKLY MARKET REPORT FOR THE WEEK ENDING NOVEMBER 14, 2025

Global Context: Disinflation trends are strengthening, with expectations for further interest rate cuts in the U.S. and other major economies. However, concerns over crude oil oversupply continue to weigh on prices.

Nigeria’s Outlook: S&P Global revised Nigeria’s sovereign credit outlook to “Positive,” boosting investor confidence in the ongoing reforms.

Local Markets: The Naira remained relatively stable. Anticipation of monetary easing by the CBN led to a decline in bond yields, while the equity market closed lower for the week.

Forward View: Global monetary easing is expected to reduce external financing costs for Nigeria, supporting capital inflows and stability.
