Governing Council Profiles
Drawn from the leadership of the various workgroups, the Governing Council sets strategic direction, takes key policy decisions and steers the overall affairs of the Association. They translate market realities into actionable governance, ensuring that the Association remains responsive, credible and relevant within the financial markets.
Anwuli Femi-Pearse
President
Anwuli is the current Group Head, Treasury and Assets & Liability Management in Sterling Bank Limited. She is an accomplished professional and has experience spanning over 22 years in the banking industry with a background in Foreign Exchange trading, Fixed income Trading, Liquidity & Balance Sheet Management, Financial Institutions and Corporate Banking. Anwuli plays a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the bank’s financial market activities, balance sheet management and optimization.
Anwuli joined Sterling Bank Limited in 2023 and has a stint of banking experience from Zenith bank PLC, Stanbic IBTC bank PLC, Union Bank of Nigeria and Signature Bank Limited.
She is an alumni of the prestigious Harvard Business School -(GMP20) ,holds a master’s degree in business administration from Imperial Business School, London and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from University of Ado-Ekiti.
Benedict Ekatah

A seasoned banking professional with over 20 years of experience in treasury functions, Benedict Ekatah serves as the Vice-President of the Association and Chairperson of the Bond Workgroup. As the Chief Dealer at StanbicIBTC Bank Ltd, he leverages his expertise to drive business growth and excellence. With a proven track record in the industry, Benedict is a respected leader and an asset to the financial markets community.
Kehinde Olomojobi

Ms. Kehinde Olomojobi is a seasoned Finance professional and a strong player in the Treasury Management space with over 27 years banking experience spanning Treasury , Currency trading, Corporate Sales, Liquidity Management, Derivatives Trading, Financial Modelling, Fixed Income Trading and Balance Sheet Management amongst other skills.
She has held positions such as the Bank Treasurer, Sterling Bank of Nigeria, Bank Treasurer, Heritage Bank of Nigeria, Bank Treasurer, Enterprise Bank of Nigeria, Bank Treasurer, Greenwich Merchant Bank and other Finance/Treasury related positions.
In the course of her Banking career, she continues to stand out as a model of integrity, probity, and accountability.
Kehinde is an alumnus of the prestigious Goldman Sachs Training Institute, Wharton Business School as well as the Lagos Business School (LBS).
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers Nigeria(FCIB), Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration (FICA) , K.W.O. as she is fondly called is also a Fellow of the Financial Markets Dealers Association.
Additionally, she is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers Scotland and Wales, UK.
On a voluntary basis, she served as the Chairman of the board of directors of SOFRESH Nig, Nigeria’s number one premium health food brand from April ,2018 to December , 2022 when she voluntarily stepped down from the role, in addition to her directorship of other firms including Cypress Leasing and Investments Nigeria Limited and Montrose Farms and Foods where she continues to add value.
K.W.O. a teacher by calling, currently, brings her wealth of teaching experience to bear at the Rome Business School where she delights in facilitating Finance related modules within the MBA and MSc. Programs as a member of the Faculty.
She is a member of WIMBIZ (Women in Management, Business and Public Service), a Nigerian non-profit organization that seeks to empower women where she is regularly appointed a WIMBIZ Mentor to provide guidance and mentorship to younger female professionals. She is currently the Treasurer of the Association of Professional Women Bankers (APWB) and brings her professional experience to bear at the CIBN where she also serves as a mentor to younger bankers.
Kehinde’s passion about seeing men and women take control of their finances and live fulfilled lives led to her birthing AurorawithKWO and eventually Aurora Financial Literacy Hub.
This same passion led her in also birthing the Aurora Juniors Club which is another learning platform developed to impart children with sound money and finance skills needed for the future – “catching them young.”
Aurora which means “new dawn” is a financial literacy platform designed to provide finance and career related guidance as well as mentoring for individuals from the organized financial private sector, business owners, budding and avid investors as well as all other works of life.
K.W.O. is the author of two bestsellers “Memoirs of a Money Maker” and “Money Magic for Adolescents” which are books she wrote chronicling time tested secrets of getting out of debt and sustaining a debt-free life style as well as tips for the next generation on the right path to financial freedom.
These books have sold several copies on Amazon and continue to be reference points in resolving and understanding money management issues.
Kehinde Olomojobi is a graduate of Economics and holds an MSc. in Finance from the University of Leicester, UK , a Masters in Business Administration from The University of Bangor Wales and another MBA from the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA).
Oluseun Olubamise

Mr. Oluseun Olubamise is currently the Treasurer and Head, Treasury & Markets at Optimus Bank Limited. He is financial markets professional with over sixteen (16) years’ experience covering financial markets sales, foreign exchange, fixed income, hedging & structured solutions, balance sheet management, and international trade. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantity Surveying from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. He is also a CFA Charter holder as awarded by the CFA Institute and has a Certificate in Business Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
Prior to joining Optimus Bank, he was Head, Foreign Exchange Dealing & Solutions at Guaranty Trust Bank and had previously managed the bank’s over US$3billion foreign currency balance sheet and correspondent banking relationships.
Oluseun has undergone several trainings locally and internationally as well as management and leadership programs at the Lagos Business School and McKinsey Academy. He was the immediate past vice chairman of the Swaps and Derivatives Workgroup of the Financial Markets Dealers Association (FMDA) and presently a member of the Nigerian Factoring Working Group.
Wasiu Sikiru

Mr. Wasiu Sikiru is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in treasury operations, risk management, and leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Olabisi Onabanjo University (formerly Ogun State University), earned in 1986, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Management and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Bayero University, Kano, obtained in 2008.
His career spans multiple industries, including government and private sectors. He began his career at the Federal Ministry of Works (Survey Division) from 1979 to 1982, followed by roles in farming and education. He later joined PeatMarwick Ani Ogunde & Co. Chartered Accountants before transitioning to Citibank Nigeria Limited in 1993.
He has held various key roles at Citibank, including Branch Operations Manager, Funds Transfer/Clearing & Collections Manager and currently, Head of Treasury Operations. He has received extensive training in leadership, credit, risk, compliance, and cybersecurity.
Wasiu is dedicated to community development and humanitarian activities, showcasing his commitment to giving back to society. He’s an avid chess player and enjoys family life. Wasiu is married with children.
Bayo Adeyemo

Mr. Bayo Adeyemo is the Country Treasurer & Markets Head, Citibank Nigeria Limited. He served as the Chairman Automation Committee of the FMDA and serves as a member of the SEC Capital Market Committee (Sub-Committee on Exchanges). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and past President of the FMDA.
Nadia Zakari

Nadia Zakari is the current Head of Markets for RMB Nigeria. She is an accomplished professional and has experience spanning over 18 years in the banking industry with a background in FX trading, Fixed income & Money Markets and Balance Sheet Management. As the Head of Markets, Nadia plays a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the bank’s Markets activities across various asset classes including Trading & Execution, Sales & Structuring and Custody.
Nadia joined RMB Nigeria in 2013 as a pioneer staff member, entrusted with the responsibility of setting up the FX Trading and Customer Dealing desk for Nigeria. Her exceptional skills, dedication, and strategic insights in identifying market opportunities and handling the execution of client transactions across market products quickly made her an invaluable member of the team. In recognizing Nadia’s exceptional capabilities, she was promoted to the position of Head of Markets in 2016. Prior to joining RMB Nigeria, Nadia worked at Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria as a Foreign Exchange Dealer having begun her banking career on the Asset and Liability Management desk.
She holds a master’s degree in finance, Economics and Econometrics from Bayes Business School, London (formerly Cass Business School, London) and a bachelor’s degree in economics with Computing from the University of Kent, UK.
Nadia is a member of the RMB Nigeria Executive Committee and sits on the Board of RMBN Nominees and RMBN Asset Management. She is the immediate past President of the Financial Markets Dealers Association (FMDA).
Ini Ebong

Mr. Ini Ebong was appointed Deputy Managing Director in June 2024. Prior to this appointment he was Executive Director, Treasury and International Banking since January 2022. He was previously the Group Executive, Treasury and International Banking, a position he held since 2016 after serving as the Bank’s Treasurer from 2011 to 2016.
Ini brings to the Executive Management of FirstBank almost 30 years of extensive banking experience working through a wide variety of roles covering Treasury, Investment banking, Finance and Banking Operations.
Before joining FirstBank, he was the Head of African Fixed Income and Local Markets Trading, Renaissance Securities Nigeria Limited, the Nigerian registered subsidiary of Renaissance Capital. He also worked with Citigroup for 14 years as Country Treasurer and Sales and Trading Busines Head.
Ini has a passion for market development and has worked actively to drive change and internationalisation of the Nigerian financial markets: foreign exchange, fixed income and securities. He has worked closely with regulatory bodies such as the CBN and DMO in assisting with the development of fresh monetary and foreign exchange policies, to broaden and deepen markets and open them up to international practices. At various times he has facilitated and delivered courses and seminars on a wide variety of subjects covering Money Markets, Securities and Foreign exchange trading and market risk management subjects to regulators, corporate customers, banks and market participants.
Ini holds both Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Architecture from University of Ife. He likes sporting activities, travelling, and meeting interesting people. He is happily married.
Fisayo Fatade
Executive Secretary/CEO
Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Association; responsible for the day-to-day management of the Secretariat and execution of the Governing Council’s decisions.
Mr. Fisayo Fatade is the Executive Secretary/CEO of the Financial Markets Dealers Association.
Mr. Fatade is a seasoned financial markets expert with over 20 years of experience in the banking industry. He has a deep understanding of the Nigerian financial markets, having worked in various capacities, including Banking Operations, Treasury Operations and International Trade Finance.
Prior to now, he worked with Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc, Union Bank Plc and Private Trust & Investment in various senior management positions. He provided overall strategic leadership and management bank-wide as Head of Operations, Trade Finance; Head of Treasury Operations and Head of Foreign Operations respectively. Before joining the Association, he worked at Business Kinetics Ltd as a Managing Partner.
His experience in a senior management position provided him the opportunity to implement some initiatives which were engendered to enhance quality customer experience. These includes the Treasury operations & Trade Finance process improvement & automation; risk and control effectiveness; governance processes; exceptional service delivery; efficiencies and productivity and cost optimization and vibrant stakeholder partnership.
He played a vital role in reviewing and updating the current Foreign exchange manual for CBN and was a member of the Steering committee for the automation of electronic Certificate of Capital Importation (e-CCI).
